Description

This gorgeous little pocket fruit knife is 2 3/4 inches in the closed position.

It is made with fine brass liners, rounded iridescent mother-of-pearl scales, ribbed silver bolsters and end cap, micro-engraved silver rosettes and piqué-clouté work and a tooled silver back bar sleeve.

The mother-of-pearl scales are particularly finely carved. The solid silver blade has three hallmarks: the George III duty mark, lion passant and the inverted crown ’T’ date mark for 1816.

This exquisite 210-year-old pocket fruit knife is in near mint condition.
